Vegan and gluten-free snack in the House!
The other day I’ve tried a new recipe, Potato-Cabbage Tikki Cutlets! This is a healthy and delicious meal which can be ready in minutes. You can serve it with salad, or have it as an appetizer with dipping sauce.
4 Potatoes - small to medium - peeled and boiled
1 cup of red cabbage - finely shredded
1 cup of onion, finely chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp of turmeric powder or curry
½ tsp of cayenne pepper
salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Note: if you don't have an ingredient, improvise with what you already have in your kitchen.
Combine all the ingredients - except the oil- and mash well.
Divide the mixture into equal-sized balls.
Gently flatten them into round shapes.
Place the balls in the fridge for about 1 hour.
Heat a flat pan on medium.
Add the oil, and cook the cutlets on both sides, until they turn golden brown.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce! (i.e: greek yogurt with garlic +salt+pepper, etc)
Happy healthy snacking my friends!
P.S: If sticking to new habits - like eating healthier or planning weekly meals - tends to get lost in translation, you’re not alone dear one. Getting consistent is a big deal for your wellbeing. That’s why I created the Bring your Healthy Back Program, to guide you & support you each step of the way.
