Vegan Potato-Cabbage Tikki Cutlets






















Vegan and gluten-free snack in the House!


The other day I’ve tried a new recipe, Potato-Cabbage Tikki Cutlets! This is a healthy and delicious meal which can be ready in minutes. You can serve it with salad, or have it as an appetizer with dipping sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 Potatoes - small to medium - peeled and boiled

  • 1 cup of red cabbage - finely shredded

  • 1 cup of onion, finely chopped

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 2 tsp of turmeric powder or curry

  • ½ tsp of cayenne pepper

  • salt to taste

  • Oil for cooking

Note: if you don't have an ingredient, improvise with what you already have in your kitchen.




Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients - except the oil- and mash well.

  2. Divide the mixture into equal-sized balls.

  3. Gently flatten them into round shapes.

  4. Place the balls in the fridge for about 1 hour.

  5. Heat a flat pan on medium.

  6. Add the oil, and cook the cutlets on both sides, until they turn golden brown.

  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce! (i.e: greek yogurt with garlic +salt+pepper, etc)
